Hands On: The Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM is a Great Ultra-Portable Prime Lens

I had the pleasure of trying out the brand new Sony 24mm f/1.4 G-Master lens before it was announced today. I spent the last few days in Sicily with Sony Europe and we had some time to go hands-on with it.
First things first: I am a Sony Ambassador of Imaging, so you might think I am biased when reviewing Sony products. But I am always honest in my reviews and will point out flaws regardless of brands I am representing. Apart from Sony, most of the people on this trip were press. Sony Unveils the 24mm f/1.4 G Master Lens

Sony has just announced the 24mm f/1.4 G Master E-mount full-frame wide-angle prime lens, the lightest and smallest lens among 24mm f/1.4 full-frame autofocus lenses.
The lens, Sony's 30th native full-frame mirrorless offering, weighs just 15.7 ounces and measures 3×3.64in with a filter diameter of 67mm.
Inside the 24mm f/1.4 G is an optical design with 13 elements in 10 groups, including two XA for suppressing sagittal flare (and accurately reproducing point light sources like stars) and three ED elements. The design makes the lens a “compelling proposition” for astrophotography, Sony...
